PUIG New Generation Sport for the BMW R 1250 R

The New Generation Sport windshield combines a compact shape with targeted aerodynamic protection for the 2025 BMW R 1250 R without the original BMW bracket. Its lines are based on the slim design of the motorcycle tank. A precisely designed recess on the front takes the shape of the instrument cover and harmoniously inserts the windshield into the front.

High quality, compact construction

PUIG manufactures the windshield from high-quality CN acrylic with a thickness of 4 mm. With a total height of 335 mm and a width of 300 mm, the design remains compact. The system includes 3mm thick metal brackets with a textured black anti-corrosion coating.

Four optical versions

The New Generation Sport Windshield is available in clear, tinted, heavily tinted and black. This means that the look can be chosen to match the individual style of the BMW without changing the characteristic shape of the windshield.

Aerodynamically examined

The shape was designed to better protect the rider from the wind without affecting the independent and dynamic appearance of the R 1250 R. In aerodynamic studies, a 47 percent reduction in wind pressure on the driver was found compared to a configuration without a windshield.

Assembly and regular inspection

The metal brackets are screwed together and then connected to the windshield. Assembly takes approximately 20 minutes. The tightness of the screws should be checked regularly.
