The R-Racer screen combines PUIG's experience from MotoGP and WorldSBK with a vehicle-specific version for sporty motorcycles. Compared to the original disc, it is 80 mm higher. This means that the wind is directed more strongly over the helmet and shoulder area.

Developed for aerodynamic requirements

PUIG develops the R-Racer line based on many years of competitive experience, including collaboration with teams in MotoGP and WorldSBK. The windshield shape was tested in a virtual wind tunnel to improve the aerodynamic drag coefficient compared to the standard windshield.

The greater height supports the targeted diversion of the air flow. The shape and contour are also designed to provide the best possible view through the window in a sporty driving position.

Manufacturing and quality control

The R-Racer disc is manufactured in Barcelona using modern manufacturing processes. The 3 mm thick acrylic combines low weight with high resistance and durability. An image-based testing system supports the quality control of the finished panes.
