More aerodynamic protection for long distances, combined with striking, sporty lines: The PUIG New Generation Touring windshield was developed specifically for the KAWASAKI Z 900 SE from 2025. Its raised shape reduces the air pressure on the upper body and at the same time reflects the aggressive character of the naked bike.

Expressive design with aerodynamic function

The design is inspired by the angular shapes of a praying mantis. Lower lines frame the front air inlet, while the side surfaces reinforce the structure and are visually reminiscent of the insect's legs. A double center surface with a flip closure deflects the wind. The aerodynamically developed central opening helps to significantly reduce noise in the driver's head area.

Dimensions and robust construction

PUIG manufactures the windshield from 3 mm thick, highly impact-resistant acrylic. The metal holders, which are also 3 mm thick, have a structured black anti-corrosion coating and are designed for long-term durability.

Measurably reduced air pressure

The aerodynamic study shows a clear difference: with the original windshield, 9.7 kg of pressure acts on the body, with the PUIG Touring windshield it is 4.6 kg. This corresponds to a reduction of 53 percent. This noticeably relieves strain on the upper body, especially on longer journeys, which supports comfort and driving safety.

The windshield is available in several versions and can therefore be tailored to the desired appearance of the motorcycle:

Assembly and documentation

To attach it, the holders are screwed together and then the windshield is mounted. PUIG gives an estimated assembly time of ten minutes. To ensure a permanently secure and precise fastening, the tightness of the screws should be checked regularly.
