PUIG Z-Racing Screen for KTM 1190 RC8 and RC8 R

Sporty lines meet purpose-optimized wind protection: The PUIG Z-Racing Screen was developed for the 2008 to 2017 KTM 1190 RC8 and 1190 RC8 R. Its double-bubble profile directs airflow over the helmet and upper body, while side channels guide the airflow outward.

Dimensions and construction

• Height × width: 370 × 350 mm
• 50 mm higher than the stock screen
• Material thickness: 3 mm
• Made from impact-resistant acrylic
• Rounded edge with a 2 mm radius
• Uses the original screws

The screen is developed and manufactured in Barcelona using modern production processes. A machine-vision quality control system is used to inspect the finished screens.

Aerodynamically developed Z-Racing contour

PUIG tested the shape in a virtual wind tunnel. Compared with the stock screen, the measured improvement in aerodynamic protection averages 12.7% with the upper body upright and 61% in the racing position. The contour combines an aggressive look suited to the motorcycle with functional airflow management.

Finishes for a personalized motorcycle look

The Z-Racing Screen is available in dark smoke, smoke, black, orange and clear. This allows you to select a look that complements the KTM’s character without altering its model-specific shape.
