Precise preload adjustment for the KTM 450 SMR

The patented XTRIG system enables quick and precise adjustment of the damper preload. This allows the chassis to be adapted to the terrain on which you ride your KTM 450 SMR. The adjustment is done with an 8mm T-key and is designed for easy handling.

Function and operation

• Quick adjustment of the preload to different terrain requirements

• Replaces the existing spring preload adjustment screws

For assembly, the screws for adjusting the spring preload are removed and replaced with the XTRIG system. The preload can then be adjusted using the intended operation. The system supports controlled suspension settings when track and terrain conditions change.

The XTRIG system is assigned to the 2021 KTM 450 SMR.

Factual note

The setting depends on the terrain being traveled on. For the adjustment, use an 8mm T-wrench and replace the existing spring preload adjustment screws with the XTRIG system.
