MALOSSI ECU Box Force Master 2.1 for the Yamaha YZF-R 125 ABS

The MALOSSI ECU Box Force Master 2.1 supports the performance management of the Yamaha YZF-R 125 ABS (RE 39) in the 2019-2020 model year range. A revised user interface makes configuration easier. Interfaces for K and CAN lines are available for communication; In addition, the control unit has a capacitive ignition connection.

Function and characteristics

The control unit offers four firmly defined maps for different combinations of exhaust system, cylinder, cylinder head, camshaft and filter. The selection depends on the respective vehicle configuration:

• Curve 0: MALOSSI with DB killer exhaust system, original cylinder, original head, original camshaft and original filter
• Curve 1: Original exhaust system, original cylinder, original head, original camshaft and original filter
• Curve 2: MALOSSI with DB killer exhaust system, MALOSSI cylinder, original head, original camshaft and original filter
• Curve 3: MALOSSI without DB killer exhaust system, MALOSSI cylinder, original head, original camshaft and original filter

The carburetor tuning can be adjusted within a range of ± 14% at minimum, medium and maximum speed. The speed limiter can be extended by + 500 rpm. In conjunction with the O 2 controller, the carburettor control is implemented via the Force Master control unit.
