The POLINI HT clutch is designed for racing use on the Vespa PX E Arcobaleno 125. This version has a primary pinion with Z23 and straight teeth. The reverse functionality changes the structure of the clutch: not the outer bell, but the inner hub is connected to the crankshaft.

Function and structure

The construction combines several features aimed at sporting use. A pressure plate on thrust bearings supports clutch actuation. The aluminum bell forms a central part of the clutch structure. It is supplemented by a block cover with an oil collecting channel.

Setting options

The spring force of the clutch can be adjusted. In addition, the selection of the primary toothing enables the gear ratios to be adjusted. In addition to the straight teeth with Z23, other primary gears and pinions with straight or helical teeth are also provided for the POLINI HT clutch.
