Yamaha TT 600 R 4GV spare parts - The last air-cooled rally rocket from Iwata
With the TT 600 R 4GV Yamaha said goodbye in 2003 the era of air-cooled big singles, without the character of the DJ01 water down: Same 595 cc heart, but revised crankshaft, modernized FCR carburettor jetting, EURO 2-compatible exhaust system and improved WP spring elements. The result: 45 HP, 52 Nm and 135 kg Fully tanked - ready, factory singles and modern 450s in off-road territory to make it look old. But even the most robust TT needs first class Yamaha TT 600 R 4GV spare parts, so that Piston rings don't rattle, Nicasil shines and FCR sliders are silky smooth slide. 1 | Evolution & Type Codes – From DJ01 to 4GV
The DJ01 (1998–2002) set standards as an air-cooled WP factory racer.
In 2003, Yamaha moved the 4GV after: identical
Frame geometry, however

Crankcase ribs. Serial numbers start with
JYACK followed by “4GV”. To distinguish:

2 | Engine & intake - FCR thrust with EURO 2 fine tuning
The 4GV engine retains 97 × 84 mm dimension, but receives Separately supplied oil galleries for intake and exhaust cams as well as double cooling fins in the outlet area. The Keihin FCR-41MX-Double carburettors service with 170 main jet, 45 idle, OBDVP-3 needle and 1¾ turns of air screw. Important spare parts:

Mapping tip: Open SR Racing pot → 175 HD / 48 LD, needle OBDVP-4; Oil cooler kit lowers oil ≥ 10°C. Oil change 10W-50 Ester all 2,500 km or 40 operating hours. Valve clearance 0.10 / 0.15 mm every 5,000 km; Shim Ø 9.48 mm (Hotcams set).
3 | Electrics, CDI & alternator – reliable spark
4GV relies on a 200 W alternator (stator 4GV-81410-00), Mosfet regulator and 12 V lead gel 4 Ah – battery for the first time! CDI has soft limiter at 8,250 rpm and error code flashing. Upgrades:
✓ Electrex G75 Stator - 220W Plugin.
✓ SH847AA Regulator - Constant 14.4V
✓ Ignitech DC-CDI – two Ignition curves, launch limiters.
✓ LED H4 20 W – 3,000 lm, 45W reserve for GPS & heated grips.

Fully adjustable WP-USD fork 43mm and WP shock absorber deliver 300 / 310 mm travel. Achieve noticeable improvements new shim stacks and more progressive springs. Brakes: 297 mm Wave in front, 245mm Wave rear. Spare & tuning parts:
