Comprehensive care kit for canvas, leather and split leather

This maintenance kit combines various products for the regular cleaning, care and waterproofing of accessories, bags and jackets made from canvas, smooth leather or split leather. The appropriate care product should be selected based on the specific material and the corresponding instructions for use.

Scope of delivery

• Cotton bag with Unit Garage logo
• Waterproofing spray
• Block of solid wax
• One tube of color cream in black or brown for smooth leather, 50 ml
• Soft cleaning brush with wooden handle
• Brush with brass bristles and wooden handle for split leather
• Cleaning disc, 100 × 60 mm and 8 mm thick
• Microfiber cloth

Waterproofing

The waterproofing spray is suitable for the regular treatment of leather, canvas and split leather. If necessary, first clean the item with warm, clear water. The spray can be used on damp or dry material.

• Shake the bottle before use.
• Spray evenly from a distance of 10 to 15 cm.
• Wipe with a clean, damp cloth to improve distribution and reduce excess product.
• Allow to dry for 12 hours for optimal results.

Keep out of reach of children, avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin, and use only in a well-ventilated area.

Care with solid wax

With regular use, resealing is recommended at least once a year. A soft cloth or sponge and a heat source are required for application.

• Remove dirt and sand and clean the material with a sponge and cold water.
• Do not use soap or detergents.
• Do not machine wash, dry clean, iron or tumble dry.
• Place the item to be treated in a warm room, in the sun or near a heat source.
• Apply the wax sparingly with a cloth or sponge, paying particular attention to seams and creases.
• Rub in thoroughly and avoid excess wax.
• For an even finish, heat with a hair dryer after waxing and then hang in a warm place overnight.

Color cream for smooth leather

The black or brown color cream is used to cover scratches and scuffs on smooth leather. It must not be used on split leather. Massage it into the cleaned area with a sponge, allow it to dry for 15 minutes and then polish with a soft cloth.

Brushes and cleaning disc

• The soft brush provides even, scratch-free cleaning.
• The brass brush is intended for cleaning and caring for split leather.
• The cleaning disc removes glue and sticky residue from leather or split leather. Rub it over the area using light pressure and then clean with a soft cloth.
