Öhlins S46DR1L with variable height adjustment

This Öhlins rear shock absorber is manufactured and tuned to Unit Garage's exclusive specifications. Its variable wheelbase adjustment enables targeted vehicle height adjustment on the BMW R 12 nineT and BMW R 12.

Design and adjustment options

• Pressurized with nitrogen
• 16-mm piston rod
• Adjustable rebound damping
• Spring preload adjustable via micrometer rings

Wheelbase and seat height

The wheelbase can be varied at the shock absorber from 415 to 425 mm. The original wheelbase is 405 mm. This allows the seat height to be raised by approximately 20 to 40 mm compared with the height using the original seat.
