BMW R 1200 RT [2014-2018] - Sport Windshield

WRS Sport windshield for the BMW R 1200 RT

The sport windshield was developed to create a more compact front end and targeted airflow on the 2014-2018 BMW R 1200 RT. It is 10 cm lower than the original windshield and is particularly suitable for warm days, city riding and sport-oriented tours.

Sporty height and optimised airflow

The height, reduced by 10 cm compared with the original, creates a compact silhouette. Its lines direct oncoming airflow towards the deflectors and are tailored to the shape of the motorcycle's front end. This reduces disruptive turbulence around the helmet and air pressure in the shoulder area.

Material and versions

The windshield is made from high-quality, 5 mm thick PMMA acrylic and bears the DOT626 marking. Two versions are available to suit the desired look:

• BM080FS: Dark smoke
• BM080T: Clear

Installation note

Unless otherwise specified, all screws must be tightened to a torque of 3 Nm during installation.

An ABE is available for the windshield. Before use, check the listed motorcycle and the included scope of validity directly in the document.
