Öhlins BlackLine chassis technology for the BMW R nineT

The Öhlins STX 46 BlackLine rear shock absorber combines a reserved, timeless look with extensive adjustment options. This 375mm high version is manufactured and tuned to Unit Garage's exclusive specifications.

BlackLine design

The black version is designed for a reduced, timeless appearance and integrates unobtrusively into the structure of the R nineT.

Assembly according to model and emissions standard

• BMW R nineT from 2014 to 2016 with EURO 3: Installation possible without making any changes to the motorcycle.
• BMW R nineT from 2017 with EURO 4 as well as all Racer and Pure models: Installation only possible after removing the activated carbon filter. The container in question is located on the left side of the shock absorber.
• BMW R nineT from 2021 with EURO 5: Installation possible without making any changes to the motorcycle.

Exhaust Compatibility

• Not compatible with the Akrapovič Single HIGH exhaust.
• With the above-mentioned high-mounted unit garage exhaust, installation is only possible after removing the pillion frame and using the designated Öhlins bracket.
