Comprehensive Paris-Dakar conversion for the BMW R nineT Urban G/S

This comprehensive kit combines a shorter 22.5 liter tank with a two-part seat, a Paris-Dakar front, luggage solutions, protective components, an ergo handlebar and other coordinated add-on parts. The conversion changes the seating position, load distribution, function and appearance of the motorcycle and remains completely reversible in the tank area.

Tank, seat and side panels

• The shorter nylon tank makes it easier to push forward towards the handlebars and improves the load on the front wheel.
• Capacity: 22.5 liters.
• Based on the manufacturer's average consumption of 17.7 km/l, this results in a calculated range of around 400 km.
• Painted in Urban G/S Light White with decor under clear varnish, delivered ready for installation.
• The original tank cap, fuel pump and activated carbon filter are retained; the reserve indicator continues to work.
• All tank mounting brackets are included.
• Manufacturer's note: TÜV tested.
• The comfortable bench is delivered complete and is divided into two parts. The pillion part can be quickly removed using the included key to create additional space for luggage when riding solo.
• Seat height: 850 mm, corresponding to the original seat height of the Urban G/S.
• The molded ABS side panels have a matt black finish and transparent decorations. Mounting screws and vibration dampers are included.

Paris-Dakar front and protective components

• The Fenouil front fairing with front fender takes up the design of the R80 G/S PD and was adapted for the R-nineT series.
• The front fairing and fenders are made of ABS and are delivered painted and with a clear coat.
• The assembly takes place without any changes to the motorcycle. Instructions, brackets and mounting screws are included.
• The front fairing provides aerodynamic protection.
• The black headlight protective grille can be installed and removed without changing the original parts.
• The headlight guard is not approved for road traffic.
• The cylinder protection bar is made of steel with a durable powder coating. Spacer bushes and screws are included in the scope of delivery.
• Most maintenance work can be performed without removing the cylinder guard.

Luggage and rear design

• The rear luggage rack is made of tubular steel with a matt black epoxy powder coating, closes the rear area and has grab handles for the pillion passenger.
• Maximum load of the luggage rack: 5 kg.
• The two leather straps for attaching items to the luggage rack are not included.
• The handcrafted tail bag is made of full-grain leather and sewn in Italy with nylon thread. Dimensions: 200 × 280 mm, height 150 mm. The required mounting parts are included.
• The matt black powder-coated aluminum PD luggage plate is mounted on the rear frame and widens the loading area when the pillion seat is removed.
• The PD luggage plate can be mounted together with the rear luggage rack. Mounting screws and anti-slip rubber pads are included.
• The tail and license plate holder is made of black, epoxy powder-coated tubular steel and has an aluminum license plate holder with a 185 × 185 mm holder.
• The design takes the original taillight and moves the license plate and taillight to a shorter, higher position.
• Brackets for original indicators or accessory indicators are available; Turn signals are not included.
• The tail holder is compatible with the bag holders mentioned, the pillion handle and the luggage rack.

Handlebars and control area

• The Ergo handlebar made of steel has a constant diameter of 22 mm, a crossbar and a matt black epoxy powder coating.
• It has the same height as the original handlebar, but offers a more comfortable bend and a more relaxed riding position.
• The assembly takes place on the original handlebar mounts and with the original controls. Heated grips remain compatible.
• The black leather padding is attached to the handlebar crossbar. Length: 26cm; Diameter: 6cm
• The kit also includes a pair of CNC machined handlebar ends in glossy black with logo. Two M12 mounting screws are included.

Exhaust and tool bag

• The tall silencer has a stainless steel connection and a titanium end piece and is made by hand.
• According to the manufacturer, it weighs around 2.8 kg less than the original and has a removable dB killer.
• When the pillion frame is installed, it is mounted on the original vibration-damping bracket.
• If the pillion frame is removed, the high exhaust bracket, which must be purchased separately, is required.
• Manufacturer's note on the silencer: complete homologation report.
• Carbon protection is not included.
• The black tool bag is made and sewn by hand from cotton and leather. Open dimensions: 20 × 36 cm; rolled: 20 × 10 cm.
• Tools are not included.
