The NEWFREN Pro Race friction disc clutch kit was developed for the 2018-2019 Ducati Panigale V4 Speciale. The Pro Race line combines a special friction material with a disc geometry designed for efficient oil flow. This allows the friction discs to work effectively and keep their properties stable even under demanding operating conditions.

Friction material and function

The friction material mainly consists of cellulose, resins, carbon and other components. The material design offers a high coefficient of friction and lower compressibility. The special design supports the oil flow within the clutch and contributes to the stable operation of the pads.
