The VERTEX GP Racer Choice forged piston was developed for the GAS GAS MC 250 F from 2021 to 2023. Its design combines a forged aluminum construction with targeted details for use in the 4T engine.

Function and construction

The shape and design of the piston crown supports a favorable flame front and is designed for the maximum permissible compression ratio. Reinforcements stiffen the piston structure and reduce piston crown deformation under full load. A surface treatment serves to reduce friction.
