Harley Davidson's electronic ignition system for touring models from 1985 to 1998 is an advanced alternative to conventional, non-adjustable ignition systems. It is housed in a high-quality aluminum housing and offers four adjustable rotary switches to configure various parameters such as dual and single fire mode, ignition time adjustment and speed limit. To support the setting, two diagnostic LEDs are integrated, which display the status of the voes switch and the position of the piston in the upper dead point. A special feature is the possibility of reading the tachometer via a PC, for which a separate PC link cable is required. The system also has a kicker mode.
