The forged VERTEX GP Racer Choice forged piston is intended for the Husqvarna FC 450 from the full 2016-2022 model year range. Its design combines an aluminum construction with racing piston compression and precisely coordinated details for use in the 4T engine.

Function and design features

• The piston crown has been optimized in terms of design and shape to improve the flame front and achieve the maximum allowable compression ratio.
• The surface treatment reduces friction within the engine.
• Reinforcements stiffen the piston structure and reduce piston crown deformation under full load.
