AXP Enduro Xtrem underrun protection for the Husqvarna TE 250 2 T

The AXP Enduro Xtrem underrun protection offers continuous coverage for the lower engine and chassis area. Made from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) with a thickness of 8 mm, it protects the area from the frame to the bottom of the footrests.

• Comprehensive protection for the lower engine area
• Extended design to protect the shock absorber linkage
• Double material thickness below the linkage
• Reinforcement part in the area of double thickness included in delivery

The extended design includes the shock absorber linkage in the protected area. Below the linkage, an additional part reinforces the construction. This means that the underrun protection continuously covers the area between the frame and the underside of the footrests.

Testing under demanding conditions

The skid plate was tested and approved by Wade Young of the Sherco Factory Team after a year of testing under “Hard/Extreme” conditions. This test relates to the version with 8 mm thick HDPE and its protection concept.

The combination of extended cover, protection of the shock absorber linkage and reinforced area below the linkage is suitable for targeted protection of the vehicle areas mentioned in enduro use.
