Classic round shape for Kawasaki W650 and W800

In twin and bratstyle conversions based on the W650 or W800, the focus is often on a simple, round front. The universal 7-inch LTD-style main headlight adopts this design with a black housing, clear lens and H4 prism reflector. The visual classification does not replace a technical inspection of the respective motorcycle.

Appropriate proportions alone are not enough

Even if the 7-inch style fits the classic appearance, existing holders and the actual installation space must be measured. The M8 mounting and the distance of 200 mm are just as relevant as the depth of the lamp pot. Additional space must be planned behind the housing for connections and cables.

Compare the vehicle electrical system with H4 main light and parking light. Then check the clearance at both steering stops. Neither forks and tanks nor instruments, cables or lines may be affected.

The main headlight is E-tested, but this does not mean that it is generally permitted to be installed on the W650 or W800. Installation height, inclination, secure attachment and overall changes must be checked on the specific vehicle. This particularly applies to holders or instrument arrangements that have already been changed.
