The VERTEX Race Evolution cast piston is designed for use in 2-stroke off-road engines and racing applications. As a cast aluminum piston, it combines the Race Evolution version with clearly defined dimensions for selecting the right piston for the KTM 125 SX.

Execution and function

The piston has a standard piston compression and is designed with a piston ring. The nitrided steel rings and the special MoS2 coating support the low-friction movement between the piston and cylinder.
