AXP underrun protection made of 8 mm PE-HD for the KTM 790 Adventure R

The AXP underrun protection protects the lower vehicle area of the KTM 790 Adventure R and is made of 8 mm thick PE-HD. With a weight of 3.9 kg, the protective plate combines a robust design with a design tailored to the vehicle.

Protection and construction

• The tank protector covers both sides of the tank as well as the fuel pump.
• An integrated intermediate foam helps to prevent friction and paint chipping.
• The newly designed protection plate is designed for use with the original KTM fuel pump protection.
• The skid plate sits in front of the tank guard to prevent the plastic from melting and coming into contact with the front fender.
• The welds are reinforced with 4mm thick aluminum plates.
• On the right side there is an opening for guiding the hose.
