The MALOSSI cylinder kit Ø 63 is designed for the Lml Star 150 2 T Vintage built between 2009 and 2016. The revised fluid dynamics of the cylinder and the profiled overflow technology specifically direct the gas flow in the inlet. This supports swirl, combustion efficiency and cylinder scavenging.

Revised flow routing

The inlet channels have a flow-optimized profile. The rear overflow channels use a double slope profile and take into account the Coandà effect. The outlet has also been redesigned with a newly designed profile for an orderly gas flow towards the exhaust.

Piston and cylinder head

The 63 mm diameter two-ring piston has a profile designed for high operating temperatures. The design supports uniform guidance in the liner and reduces rotation around the pivot pin axis. Two piston rings ensure sliding properties and tightness against the pressures generated in the combustion chamber.

The hemispherical cylinder head features revised, twisted cooling fins, a central and inclined spark plug position and machining with numerically controlled machines. Two centering bushings support the coupling between the cylinder head and cylinder; the separation is done by an O-ring.
