Öhlins TTX Technology for the Front Suspension
The Öhlins T36PR1C1 is a nitrogen-pressurized front shock absorber with a separate reservoir. It is manufactured and tuned to exclusive specifications and allows individual compression and rebound adjustment.

Note for ESA Models
The shock absorber is compatible with ESA models up to and including 2016. An additional kit is required for this. This configuration is not suitable for models from 2017 onward.
Compatibility
According to the manufacturer, the shock absorber is listed for BMW R 1200 GS Adventure model years 2013–2018. For ESA models, the above restriction applies up to and including 2016; this ESA configuration is not suitable for models from 2017 onward.
