The MALOSSI aluminum cylinder with 63 mm bore and 14 mm piston pin is designed for the Piaggio Liberty 125 IE iGet 3 V S ABS E 4 (M 891) from the 2015-2019 model year range. The 4-stroke cylinder has a stroke of 58.6 mm and achieves a displacement of 182.67 cm³ with a compression ratio of 11.15:1.

Pistons and piston rings

The ultra-compact three-ring piston is made of a special aluminum alloy with a high silicon content and low thermal expansion. The sliding surfaces have a tin coating. The piston is reduced in weight and reinforced; its heat exchange surfaces have been improved. Production takes place on numerically controlled machine tools.

The ring set includes a nitrided and chrome-plated steel I-ring, a special cast ring and a three-part wiper ring made of special chrome-plated steel alloy. The piston rings are designed for high sliding properties and high mechanical strength.
