AXP Enduro Xtrem underrun protection for Sherco 250 SEF-R Racing

The AXP underrun protection made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) protects the entire engine area of the Sherco 250 SEF-R Racing. The 8 mm thick version is designed for use in the enduro sector and extends beyond the underbody to the shock absorber linkage.

Function and protection area

• Complete protection of the engine area
• Design extended up to the shock absorber linkage
• Integrated protection from the frame to the bottom of the footrests
• Double thickness of material below the linkage for additional reinforcement

Below the linkage, the construction is supplemented by a reinforcement part with twice the material thickness. This means that the underrun protection continuously covers the area between the frame and the underside of the footrests. The black version fits objectively into the vehicle design.

testing

The design and manufacturing process have been further developed. The underrun protection was tested and approved by Wade Young from the Sherco Factory Team after a year of testing under “Hard / Extreme” conditions.
