The S3 cast piston Racing Long Life is designed for the Sherco ST 3.0 Cabestany from 2013. With a diameter of 78.950 mm and oversize A, it supports a targeted selection to match the specified engine dimensions.

Structure and function

The cast piston is made of aluminum. The aluminum-silicon alloy combines low weight with robust properties. A protective layer made of molybdenum disulfide completes the structure. As a result, the piston is designed for reduced vibrations and faster engine speed build-up.

The piston includes nitrided steel rings. This version complements the piston for the intended use in the upper engine area.
