The POLINI racing clutch with Z22 gear rim and helical teeth is designed for the Vespa Cosa 200 in the 1988-1997 model year range. Their reverse operation connects the part connected to the crankshaft not via the outer bell, but via the inner hub.

Structure and function

The clutch uses a pressure plate on thrust bearings, an aluminum bell and a cover from the block with an oil collection groove. The aluminum discs, reinforced with 8 teeth, support the power transmission within the clutch. The spring force of the clutch can be adjusted so that the clutch characteristics can be adapted to the respective application.

Translation and switching behavior

The integrated gear rim concept allows the selection of the primary gearing to adapt the translation. In this version, a gear ring with Z22 and helical teeth is provided. By replacing the primary gear, the POLINI HT clutch can be modified with other available spare parts. The design is designed for precise and smooth gear changes.
