The MALOSSI aluminum cylinder with 63 mm bore and 14 mm piston pin is designed for the Vespa Primavera 125 4 T Iget Touring ABS E 4 from the 2017-2019 model year range. The 4-stroke component has a stroke of 58.6 mm, a displacement of 182.67 cm³ and a compression ratio of 11.15:1.

The cylinder's primary aluminum alloy has a high proportion of hardened and tempered silicon. The liner is machined with crossed smoothing and two diamond passes. High-precision CNC machine tools as well as the recalculation and improvement of heat exchange surfaces are among the technical features of the execution.

Pistons and piston rings

The ultra-compact 3-ring piston is made of a special aluminum alloy with high silicon content and low thermal expansion. A tin coating on the sliding surfaces, the weight-reduced and reinforced design as well as improved heat exchange surfaces complete the design. The piston rings include a nitrided and chrome-plated I-ring, a special cast ring and a three-piece wiper ring made of special chrome-plated steel alloy.
