The POLINI racing clutch with Z22 gear rim and straight-toothed pinion is a clutch solution for the Vespa Sprint Veloce 150 from the 1977–1979 model year range. Their reverse operation connects the crankshaft not to the outer bell, but to the inner hub.

Structure and function

The construction is designed for precise power transmission and smooth gear changes. The clutch also allows the spring force to be adjusted. By selecting the appropriate toothing of the primary gear, the translations can be tailored to the respective application.
