The YSS double strut rear shock absorber with external reservoir from the Gas Eco Line is assigned to the YAMAHA N MAX 125 in the 2022-2026 model year range. The design with two spring struts supports targeted tuning of the chassis via the adjustable spring preload and length adjustment.

Tuning the spring preload

The spring preload is adjusted via a thread on the cylindrical shock absorber. This allows the spring to be adjusted to the desired preload. After adjustment, the adjustment ring is fixed in position using the screw provided.

Adjustable length

The length adjustment allows the shock absorber length to be adjusted. The adjustment range is +/- 5 mm. The shock absorber therefore offers an additional opportunity to adapt the suspension setup to personal requirements.
