MALOSSI cylinder kit for Yamaha N-MAX 125 ABS (SEC 7)

The MALOSSI cylinder kit ø 63 bolts ø 14 H20 I-Tech 4-stroke is designed as a big-bore kit for the Yamaha N-MAX 125 ABS (SEC 7), built in 2021. The cylinder has a bore of Ø 63 mm, a stroke of 58.7 mm and a displacement of 183 cc. The compression ratio is 11.27.

Technical execution

  • Cylinder made of a primary aluminum alloy with a high proportion of hardened and tempered silicon
  • Cylinder liner with silicon carbide coating in a galvanic nickel die
  • Cross-smoothing with two diamond passes and very tight tolerances
  • Machining on numerically controlled machine tools
  • Cylinder-piston connection with a tolerance of 0.05 mm
  • Recalculated heat exchange surfaces on cylinder and piston

Pistons and piston rings

The ultra-compact piston is made of a special aluminum alloy with a high silicon content and low thermal expansion. A tin layer on the sliding surfaces supports the defined design. The lightweight, reinforced piston features three rings and improved heat exchange surfaces. Special rings with high sliding properties and very high mechanical strength are used: a compression ring made of nitrided and chrome-plated steel, a special ring made of cast iron and a three-part wiper ring made of special chrome-plated steel alloy.

Vehicle assignment and notice

Suitable for Yamaha N-MAX 125 ABS (SEC 7), year of manufacture 2021. Installation is only intended with a Force Master 2.1 control unit. The product is intended exclusively for competitions at designated venues in accordance with the regulations of the relevant sports associations.
