The YSS Gas Top Line Z-Series rear shock absorber is intended for the Yamaha XJ 6 F Diversion ABS (RJ 19) built between 2010 and 2012. Its adjustable functions enable the spring and damper movement to be specifically adapted to personal requirements.

Adjustable cushioning

The rebound setting controls the movement of the shock absorber after compression. The flow of the hydraulic oil via the vent can be regulated using the adjustment knob. When adjusted, the rebound button produces a clicking sound that aids operation.

Spring and preload

The threaded spring preload ring is screwed into place to compress the spring and ring and lock the ring in the desired position. This means that a preload adjustment is available in addition to the rebound setting.
