The MALOSSI cylinder kit ø 63 bolts ø 14 H20 I-Tech 4-stroke is assigned to the Yamaha XSR 125 Legacy in the entire 2023-2024 model year range. With a bore of Ø 63 mm, 58.7 mm stroke and 183 cc displacement, the kit is designed for the 4-stroke engine of this vehicle classification.

Structure and editing

The cylinder is made of a primary aluminum alloy with a high proportion of hardened and tempered silicon. The cylinder liner has a silicon carbide coating in an electroplated nickel die. Cross-smoothing with two diamond passages and very tight tolerances supports the precise cylinder-piston connection with a tolerance of 0.05 mm. Machining is carried out on machine tools with high-precision numerical control.

The ultra-compact piston made of a special aluminum alloy with a high silicon content is light and reinforced. Its sliding surfaces have a tin layer. Improved heat exchange surfaces can be found on the cylinder and piston. The piston works with three rings: a nitrided and chrome-plated steel ring, a special ring made of cast iron and a three-part wiper ring made of special chrome-plated steel alloy.

Important installation information

Installation is only intended with a Force Master 2.1 control unit. The product is intended exclusively for competitions at designated venues in accordance with the regulations of the relevant sports associations.
