The BOYESEN wheel membrane block was developed specifically for the Yamaha YZ 125 (CE 01), built in 1998. Its design is designed for optimized intake air guidance and model-specific coordination of the membrane plates.

Function and structure

The membrane block is made of 100% aluminum and has an optimized inner surface. A 4-way diffuser supports the guidance of the air flows and helps to avoid pressure losses in the intake area. The RC2 version was developed for competition use and optimizes the intake air flows.

Technical features

The membrane plates are tailored to the respective motorcycle model. Its variable flexibility allows the membrane to be opened in several stages. The hydrocarbon-resistant design supports a longer seal life. Together with the Aerodynamic Surface Optimization, the model-specific Reed Petal Tensioning and the Multi-Stage Reed Timing, the membrane block forms an intake system tailored to the intake.
