The Pro Race steel and friction disc kit from NEWFREN is designed for the Yamaha YZ 125 (CE 16) built between 2006 and 2023. It combines friction discs and steel discs in a coordinated clutch solution for racing.

Friction discs with functional design

The friction material mainly consists of cellulose, resins, carbon and other components. This means it achieves a high coefficient of friction and is less compressible. The special disc design improves oil flow and supports efficient clutch operation. The combination of material and construction increases the stability of the pads even under demanding operating conditions.

The Pro Race series was developed in collaboration with successful teams from the Superbike, Moto 3 and MXGP world championships. The kit is designed as a high quality racing product.
