The BOYESEN wheel membrane block was developed model-specifically for the Yamaha YZ 250. The intake system combines an optimized internal surface with a 4-way diffuser that supports air flows and is intended to reduce pressure losses in the intake area. As a result, the diaphragm block is designed to optimize the engine's power, torque and elasticity.

Structure and function

The membrane block is made of 100% aluminum. The inner surfaces are designed to ensure air flow in a streamlined manner. The system includes model-specific membrane plates with variable flexibility. They are made of aviation-grade carbon and have a hydrocarbon-resistant rubber coating. This design supports a longer service life for the seals.

Assembly and scope of delivery

Intake connection and fastening clamps are included in the scope of delivery. The diaphragm block is intended for direct installation without modification, allowing the existing intake system to be replaced without any adjustment work to the motorcycle.
