WRS brake cooling ducts for the YAMAHA YZF R 1

These brake cooling ducts were developed specifically for the 2015-2019 YAMAHA YZF R 1. They direct airflow towards the brake caliper, helping to control temperatures at the brake pads, pistons and throughout the braking system.

Targeted cooling airflow

The ducts direct air straight into the brake caliper area. This can significantly reduce temperatures at the pads and brake caliper pistons. At the same time, the thermal load on the brake circuit is reduced; brake fluid temperature can drop by 30 to 40 °C.

Installation

The brake cooling ducts are positioned directly on the original fork and secured with the supplied cable ties.
