The racing windscreen for the 2008-2016 YAMAHA YZF R 6 is 35 mm higher than the original, providing increased coverage from the oncoming airflow. Its carefully refined shape follows the motorcycle’s lines and emphasises its sporty character.

PMMA windscreen for a sporty silhouette

The windscreen is made from high-quality PMMA plexiglass with DOT626 marking. The raised racing profile was designed to provide greater wind coverage in a sporty riding position and is also used by numerous teams in international racing.

The racing windscreen is available in two versions:

• Tinted: Product code YA009F
• Clear: Product code YA009T

Installation

The windscreen replaces the standard part without any modifications to the motorcycle. Unless otherwise specified, all screws must be tightened to a torque of 3 Nm.
