The Evotech Brake Lever Protector Kit in the road version protects the front brake lever of the Yamaha YZF-R1 from unintentional operation. The design, which has been tested on the race track, is suitable for road use and track days.

High quality construction

Scope of delivery

  • Brake lever protector for the right side of the handlebar
  • Model-specific Evotech handlebar end weight for attachment
  • Matching Evotech replacement handlebar end weight for the left side

Assembly instructions

The model-specific Evotech fastening system allows for easy and secure mounting on the handlebars. The kit is intended exclusively for use with the original throttle tube and the original handlebar grip.

After assembly, it must be checked that the throttle grip play is set correctly and that the throttle grip can be opened and closed freely, evenly and completely. The function of the throttle grip must not be impaired by the brake lever protector.
