The Basic tank ring from HEPCO & BECKER offers a practical solution for securely attaching a tank bag for the Kawasaki Z 1100 / SE from 2026. This accessory is specially tailored to the shape and requirements of the motorcycle and enables uncomplicated handling.

The scope of delivery includes the tank ring and a counterholder that can be mounted on the tank bag depending on the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars. The tank cap remains easily accessible even when the tank ring is installed. To attach the tank bag, it is simply placed on the tank ring and locked mechanically. A clearly audible noise signals correct locking.

Difference between Lock-it and BASIC tank rings:
The Basic tank ring works purely mechanically, while the Lock-it tank ring also uses magnets for centering. Both systems are identical in terms of the model-specific metal ring, but are not compatible with each other. It is therefore important that the tank bag and the tank ring come from the same system.
