BASIC tank ring with internal mounting for Aprilia and Ducati
This universal tank ring serves as a mechanical mount for a Hepco & Becker tank bag using the BASIC system. This version is designed for internal mounting on the brands named in the title.
Complete tank ring set
The product includes the BASIC tank ring and the matching tank bag locking unit. The retaining plate is positioned on the tank bag to suit the tank shape and steering lock. The tank bag itself is not included.
Operation and use
- Mechanical lock with an audible click when engaged
- Released using the strap at the front of the tank bag
- Fuel filler cap remains accessible with the ring fitted
- Recommended tank bag load: approx. 3 kg
- Recommended maximum speed with tank bag: 130 km/h
The motorcycle manufacturer's specifications and model-specific instructions must also be observed. Neither ABE nor registration is required when installed as intended.
Important information on system selection
The tank ring and retaining plate must both belong to the BASIC system. A Lock-it retaining plate cannot be combined with this ring. The set weighs 0.3 kg and is made in Germany.
